The fortunes of Chinese food

Emmett's parents put their condo up for sale this week, and celebrated by going out to the food court for chinese food dinner. Emmett made his first attempt at using chopsticks and almost got the hang of it.

Of course, no chinese food meal is complete without a fortune cookie, so once the ginger beef and stir fried veggies were gone, Emmett tried a fortune cookie.

Emmett's parents had to rescue the fortune from making it's way into Emmett's intestines. It's a good thing they did. Their fortune tonight seems like a good sign for a quick sale next week.

Elvis impersonator

Much to his Poppa's chagrin, Emmett ventured down to the end of lonely street to practice his Elvis impersonations. With only two months until the Elvis Festival, his hip swagger is looking pretty good as he sings for a sold out crowd of toys. With some coaching on hairstyle, lyrics, tone and wardrobe, he should be good to go.
